“There is no love sincerer than the love of food.” –George Bernard Shaw
Hey all, I’m Tanisha! Thanks for coming to my humble blog, I truly treasure each and every reader that visits. After growing up on reruns of Iron Chef instead of Barney, a fire for food was stoked within me. I am currently a full-time student but was desperately in search of a hobby fueled by my oldest passion. After some thorough contemplation, frustration, and intense sessions of binge eating, A Thousand Foods was born in the summer of 2017.
I genuinely believe that food is one of the greatest mediums of cultural exchange we have available to us (I even wrote a paper about it once…), and created this blog to marry my interests in cultural exploration, writing, and of course FOOD.
After reading through Mimi Sheraton’s masterpiece, 1000 Foods To Eat Before You Die, I decided to give the list a serious, documented attempt. I hope you all enjoy reading through this blog, and please feel free to suggest dishes for me to try from your own homes around the world.
